After conducting labour market impact assessments, we at Bluenose Atlantic Placement have realized that there is a shortage in some skills within the Atlantic Canada labour market. The government has implemented the three year Atlantic Immigration Pilot project (AIP) to allow skilled workers and international graduates express entry into Canada by filling the skilled labour market shortage in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.
